Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Lauren Gold

Lauren Nuñez Gold is a bilingual, board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) who brings a unique combination of clinical depth, cultural awareness, and heartfelt compassion to her work in mental health care. Based in Stuart, Florida, she provides comprehensive, patient-centered psychiatric care to individuals across the lifespan—children, adolescents, adults, and older adults—through a remote and accessible care model.

Lauren Gold holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida and completed her postgraduate PMHNP certification at Liberty University. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is passionate about improving mental health access and outcomes for multicultural and underserved populations. With over a decade of clinical experience and advanced training in both family and mental health care, Lauren brings a comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to each patient encounter.

Since August 2024, Lauren has been serving as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Helping People Succeed, a community-focused behavioral health organization in Jensen Beach, FL. Prior to her psychiatric work, Lauren held roles in family medicine, chronic pain management, aesthetic medicine, and post-anesthesia care. At Resolute Pain Solutions, she provides comprehensive care to patients with complex pain and mental health comorbidities. She also administered ketamine infusions for treatment-resistant depression and PTSD at Ketamine Health Centers, gaining experience in novel treatment modalities.

Lauren's foundation in acute care began in hospital settings such as UF Health Shands, Baptist Medical Center-Beaches, and Hunterdon Medical Center, where she served as both a PACU nurse and OR circulator. These early roles sharpened her ability to assess, intervene, and advocate for patients in high-acuity environments—skills she continues to draw on in her psychiatric practice today.

Throughout her career, Lauren has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to evidence-based care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient advocacy. Whether she is managing psychiatric medications, educating families, or developing trauma-informed treatment plans, she ensures every patient is treated with empathy, dignity, and respect.

Outside of her professional life, Lauren enjoys spending quality time with her family, husband and their two dogs. She finds balance and joy in staying active—whether it’s working out, traveling or simply enjoying the outdoors with family. These personal passions help her maintain a well-rounded lifestyle, which she believes is essential to delivering meaningful, empathetic care to others.
