Our Policies

We appreciate the opportunity to be a part of your mental health journey. If you have any questions about our policies or services, please don’t hesitate to contact us.​

Appointment Types & Fees

 

Initial Medication Management Consultations

  • Adult (Ages 18–75): 60 minutes – $250

  • Child (Ages 6–17): 90 minutes – $200

Follow-Up Medication Management​

  • Adult Follow-Up: 30 minutes – $125

  • Child Follow-Up: 30 minutes – $100

Additional Services

  • Detailed documentation/paperwork (over 10 minutes): $50

  • Extended professional services must be completed during scheduled appointments and are billed per the regular fee schedule.

Fees are subject to change based on the needs and preferences of both the patient and provider.​​

Cancellation Policy​

We kindly request at least 1 business day’s notice for any cancellations. Cancellations made with less than one business day's notice or missed appointments will incur a $100 fee. You may cancel via phone, text, or email.

Payment Policy

Full payment is due at the time of each visit unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept:

  • Credit/debit cards (kept securely on file)

  • Cash

  • Checks

  • HSA/FSA cards

**We do not accept insurance and are not affiliated with any managed care plans.** However, we are happy to provide a one-page invoice (superbill) upon request, which you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement (excluding Medicare).

Note: We are considered "non-participating providers" for Medicare and cannot provide documentation for reimbursement through Medicare under any circumstances.

Communication & Refills

Routine phone calls and emails will be returned free of charge. However, if calls/emails become frequent or time-consuming, you may be asked to schedule an appointment to address ongoing concerns more thoroughly.

  • Texting: Patients may opt in for appointment reminders via text and limited communication.

  • Email: Use LCpsychiatryfl@gmail.com only for administrative purposes (e.g., sending forms, scheduling). Please do not email clinical concerns or confidential health information.

  • Phone: Call or text 772-232-5651. Messages are returned within one business day.​

In the case of an emergency, please dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. We do not provide emergency services or crisis intervention.

Medication Refills: Please allow 24–48 hours for refill requests. Refills are not provided by phone outside scheduled appointments. Plan accordingly to avoid interruptions in treatment.

Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

LC Psychiatry & Wellness is committed to protecting your privacy and autonomy. We will not release any personal health information without your written consent, except as required by law (e.g., risk of harm, abuse, court orders). We do not share, sell, or trade any patient information with outside parties.
